'Chinese' landscape

This is what I did for the background of the slide show of presentation on Chinese cinema.

I used blender for everything, the flags wave (which isn't hard or that big a deal, but still yay!). Internal renderer.

For the grass I used particles, and they got to look the way they do thanks to wind!.

I downloaded two materials from the blender open material repository, which were grass and wood (for the ground, would you believe it?, wood).

The sky is a heavily edited photo in photoshop, I adjusted the colors to match a palette of red and yellow.

This was inspired by!..... Mortal Kombat the movie XD, hehe, that where I got the design of flags. The characters reads "Chinese cinema", I got it from wikipedia, I have no idea of what the pinyin is, I know it for two of them Zhongguo (which is China).

(the center text says "China", and the two buttons say "previous" and "next", each sub section enters from a fade with the genre in Chinese (say "Gong-fu Pian", has the text "Gong-Fu" in Chinese).

We went with Chinese cinema because it was the coolest thing to choose, Hollywood was done by the teacher, and I frankly have no interest in the "artistic currents of European cinema", from pretty much any country. I didn't want to do Venezuela either, meh. LET'S GO WITH MOITIAL AITS

In reality, I had actually seen Chinese movies, like freaking awesome shaolin soccer, or freaking awesome crouching tiger hidden dragon. So Chinese cinema it was.
